I am stuck at 9! – Can you help me crack the code?
My coach and I work with PE (rate of perceived exertion). I learn a lot about myself using PE. Especially during my max power tests. The scale is 0-10. 0 being the easiest and 10 being the hardest thing I have ever done. I hit the wall!

Beaten by these women in their 50s… WOW!
Sea Otter Classic #day3 65K Road Race (1100m elevation) ?? I have now survived 3 nights of camping, just. Saturday night seemed to be the big party night in the camp. Our neighbours literally were just there to get drunk, nothing else! At least last night was warmer, I could actually leave my arms (in […]

I quit! … But I accept.
Sea Otter Classic #day2 40 mins Circuit Race I woke up feeling a bit broken. Not only from a beaten up right side of my body, but also from sleeping on a thin mattress in a tent for 2 people [?] The night before driving down to the Sea Otter race venue, I lost my […]

When it’s over, before it’s even started
When I look at this image, I convince myself that I am strong and that I am a fighter. However San Dimas Stage Race is over for me. Stage 2 – 90K Road Race (8 laps) on a technical course with everything I am not used to: longer hills, short, but very steep hills, sharp […]

Retiring at the top (hehe)
What just happened there?? My first ever triathlon – 1st place! Super Sprint distance 375m ?? 10K ?? 2.5K ?? In memory of Roy Nasr. The Swim: The swim was really terrible, as expected. I don’t recommend having only one swim session. Blowing bubbles under water was not an option.
